Mrs. Barbara Culbertson, 73, passed away Monday, Sept 4, 2006 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.

She was born in Petersburg, IN. to Ralph and Marie Hornbrook Rutdledge but had lived in the Oakland City area most of her life. She was a member of the Oakland City First Pentecostal Church

She is survived by her husband, George of Oakland City and 4 children: Connie and husband Richard Loveless of Oakland City, Thomas Culbertson of Petersburg, IN., George H. Culbertson of Princeton, IN., and Steven A Culbertson of Oakland City, IN.  Also surviving are 25 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Helen (Elwood) Pride. 

She was preceded by her parents, 7 brothers and a granddaughter Sherri Culbertson who died in 2006. 

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday September 8, 2006 at the First Pentecostal Church in Oakland City with burial in the Somerville Cemetery. 

Friends may call from 8 a.m. Friday until service time at the church.
