Robert Nathaniel Cole, 75, passed away Monday, June 18, 2007 at West Salem Manor in West Salem, Illinois.

He was born March 25, 1932 in Pinkstaff, Illinois and lived at the West Salem Manor.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Conwell-Edison in Waukeegan, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cassie & Clayton Cole, sister, Dorothy Shinault & a brother, Paul Cole. 

Survivors include his 3 children, Derrick (Jane) Cole of Princeton, Belinda (Randy) Brock of Henderson, Kentucky & Jeff Cole of Jeffersonville, Indiana; 4 brothers & 1 sister, Marion (Muriel) Cole of St. Louis, Missouri, Clayton Cole of Kenosha, Wisconsin, James (Marilyn) Cole of Piscataway, New Jersey, Betty Speed of Madison, Alabama & Jack (Lenora) Cole of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren & step-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, June 22, 2007 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Tarrell O. Thompson. Friends may visit from 4 until 8 P.M. Thursday at Colvin Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Portee Cemetery in Pinkstaff, Illinois with the committal service there at 1 P.M. Friday. Military rites will be provided at the cemetery by the Lawrenceville V.F.W.-American Legion.
