Helen Allene
Clark, age 85, of Oakland City, passed away at Good Samaritan Nursing Facility, Sunday, December
24, 2006.
She was born in Francisco, IN on May 7, 1921 to Jesse and Audie (Bell) Clark who preceded her in death along with her
boyfriend Doug Johnson, a brother Dave Clark and a sister Lorene Mahan. She had
lived in Oakland City since 2000 coming from Evansville, IN.
She owned and operated the Corner Lunch Restaurant on Third and Court in Evansville for several years. She also worked as a medical lab
technician at Gibson General Hospital and other area hospitals.
Survivors include James and Debra Keene, and nieces and nephews Patsy Wallace,
Rick Mahan, Terrie Brogan, Jeanie Ott, Wesley Clark,
and J. D. Clark; a brother-in-law, Glenn Mahan, and a sister-in-law, Paula
Clark; several great nieces and nephews; and 4 great great
nieces.
Services will be held at 11 A.M.
Friday,
December 29, 2006 at the
Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Bob McDonald officiating.
Friends may call for
visitation from 9:00 until 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Colvin Funeral Home. Burial will be at
the Martin Cemetery in Glezen.
