Harry W. Christmas, age 66, passed away on Sunday November 20, 2005 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.

 

Harry was an Air Craft Mechanic and retired as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force where he served for over 20 years. He later retired from P.S.I.  He was a member of the VFW Post#2714 in Ft. Branch and the American Legion Post#25 in Princeton. He was also an Elder at the Church of Christ in Princeton

He was born on
July 10, 1939 in Tennyson, Indiana to Almon D. & Dorothy (Trainer) Christmas, both deceased. Also preceding him in death were his son, Alan Wayne Christmas and a sister, Janis Christmas. 

Harry is survived by his wife of 45 years, Lucile (Gustafson) Christmas of Princeton; 2 daughters and son-in-law, Sheila & Rodney Perry of Murphysboro, TN and Carol Russell of Princeton; 1 grandson, David Russell of Princeton; 1 granddaughter, Tabitha Hayes of Mt. Vernon, IN; 2 sisters, Helen Mitchell of Princeton and Genevieve Wade of Johnson, IN; 2 brothers, William David Christmas of Griffin and Johnny Christmas of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews 

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday November 23, 2005 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with the Ministers John O’Keefe and Ray Stillwell officiating. Burial will be at the
Walnut Hill Cemetery in Ft. Branch, IN.

 

Friends may call from 3 until 8 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home. VFW Post #2714 of Ft. Branch will conduct military graveside services.
