Lorena M. (Robertson) Carlisle, 91 of Princeton, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2008 at the home of her daughter.

 

She was a lifelong member of the United Presbyterian Church in Princeton. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She loved going to the Senior Center and playing euchre with her friends, "the girls". 

Lorena was born on
September 26, 1917 in Linton, IN to Mattie (Bryan) Robertson Williams and Wilburt Robertson, both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Carlisle in 1988. 

She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Nancy (Carlisle) and Roy "Mack" Stoll of Princeton; grandsons, Tony (Mary) Stoll and Matthew (Stephanie) Stoll; great grandchildren, Allyssa, Ryan, Landon, Loren and Luke; brother-in-law, Col. John F. Carlisle (Ret) of Huntsville, Alabama; nephews, John Gordon Carlisle, Jack Carlisle, Jim Dills; nieces, Carol Shaefer, Joyce Waltz and Sharon Niederhaus. She also had a special friend Patsy Burns who helped by providing excellent care for her. 

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday October 22, 2008 at 10 AM at the United Presbyterian Church in Princeton officiated by Rev. Barry Wynveen and Chaplain Jack Neighbors (Vista Care Hospice Chaplain). Burial will be at the
Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton.

 

Friends may visit from 4 until 8 PM on Tuesday at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, Indiana
