Violet P. Cargal age 85 of Princeton died Friday Feb. 11, 2005 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City.

She was born in Patoka, IN Sept. 11, 1919, the daughter of Roy and Charlotte Pearl (Barnes) Morrison.

Violet was retired Nurses Aide working in newborn care at the Welborn Hospital in Evansville and Gibson General Hospital in Princeton. She had lived in Princeton and Patoka area all of her life. 

She is survived by a sister Nettie Dossett of Princeton and two brothers, Max Morrison of Patoka and Paul Morrison of Princeton, and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Roland “Bud” Cargal who died in 1978. 

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Gravesite, at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Patoka, with the Rev. Edmond Harris officiating. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the services. Colvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
