Paul C. Burton age 67 passed away Saturday April 14, 2007 at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

 

He was born in Tishimingo, Mississippi on May 26, 1939 to Oscar E. and Eva E. (Long) Burton.

 

He retired in 1991 from LTU Steel in East Chicago IN where he had worked for 32 years. He was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Princeton. He had lived in Princeton IN for the past 12 years, moving here from Hammond, IN. 

Paul is survived by his wife Linda, to whom he married on July 2, 1959, two daughters and a son in law Debbie Lynne and Roger Jackson of Hammond IN, and Teresa A. Burton of Princeton, two grandsons Dewayne and Raymond Frazier of Hammond, IN, and three great granddaughters. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Norma J. Scarborough, and Elaine McCauley. 

Visitation will be at the Colvin Funeral Home in
Princeton from 4 until 7:45 p.m. Monday April 16 with a memory moment at 7:45 p.m. with Pastor Jamie Arden leading.

 

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Wed. April 18 at the Highland Baptist Church 9738 5th St. Highland IN with Pastor Ed Heavner officiating with burial in the Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond, IN.

 

There will be visitation from 9 a.m. to the service time at the church in Highland. The Kuiper Funeral Home in Highland will be handling the Highland arrangements.
