Gayle E. Burnes, age 65 of Evansville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2006 at the St. Mary’s Warrick Hospital in Boonville.

She retired in 1996 from General Tire and Rubber after over 20 years. She loved to play Bingo. 

She was born December 27, 1940 in Evansville to James & Ruth (Weber) Stephenson, both deceased. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Burnes; brother, Larry Stephenson; and infant daughter, Ruth Helen Woodruff 

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles & Terri Woodruff of Princeton; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Ruth Woodruff of Gentryville, In and Mary & Darren Bell of Boonville; 5 grandchildren; and a brother, Frank Stephenson of Florida 

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday January 14, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the Locust Hill Cemetery in Evansville.

There will be no visitation. Colvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
