Mary Ellen Bryant, age 67 of Francisco, Indiana passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2006 at the Gibson General Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility.

She was a member of the Gospel Ministry Church in Francisco. She had worked at Forest Del Nursing Home as a nurse’s aide. 

She was born April 27, 1938 in Tell City, Indiana to Amos Coy and Nana Lee Jackson, both deceased. 

She is survived by her husband, Robert "Spanky" Bryant of Francisco; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Keith Wayne (Christine) Bryant of Evansville, Jeffrey Allen (Vicki) Bryant of Oakland City; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Ava Marie Kowal of Chicago and Kimberly Sue "Bryant" (Stephen) Bettag of Oakland City; 6 grandchildren, Justin Bryant, Bobby Bettag, Tracy, Rob, James and Matthew; several great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Wanda James of Derby, Indiana, Mabel Bledsoe of Spottsville, Ky., Stella Scales of Tell City, Indiana; 1 brother, Amos Coy Jackson of Evansville, Indiana 

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday January 19, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Robert McDonald officiating. Burial will be at the White Church Cemetery in Princeton.
