Helen Marie Manion Bruce, 74, died Thursday, March 31, 2005 at the VNA Hospice, in Evansville. 

She lived in the Mackey area for many years and was a member of the Oakland City Full Gospel Church. 

She was preceded in death by her son Kerry Manion on March 27, 2005; by three husbands, Emmitt Carter, in 1965, Noble C. Manion, in 1974 and Amos Bruce in 1985; and a brother, Paul Pharr. 

Survivors include eight children, James Carter, of Evansville, Sharon Eckert, of Stendal, Lana Brees, of Rockport, Texas, Connie Hembd, of Evansville, Amy Siekman, of Buckskin, Jay Manion, of Evansville, Curt Manion and Jack Manion, of Francisco; brothers and sisters, Elmer Pharr, of Mt. Vernon, Ind., Marge Conner, of Evansville and Charles (Fritz) Pharr, of Wadesville; 20 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home, in Oakland City, with burial in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, in Evansville. Brother Henry Nelson will officiate. 

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
