Billie June Bottoms age 73 of Somerville, IN died Monday Dec. 24, 2007 at her home in Somerville.

She was born Dec. 27, 1933 in Princeton to Orien and Marjorie (Griffin) Richardson.

She was a retired Postal Clerk at the Somerville Post Office, where she worked for over 30 years. She was a member of the Florida Fly Wheelers, a past member of the Flying Farmers of America. She was a friend of the Old Order Amish. 

She married her husband Virl Bottoms on Oct. 18, 1952 in Princeton. He preceded her in death in 2003. She was also preceded in death her father and step-mother Orien and Evelyn Richardson, and her mother Marjorie (Griffin) Alvis, sister, Rose Richardson, brother-in-law, Kenneth Bottoms, Pam Trockman, fiancé to her son Steve, and father and mother-in-law, Floyd and Catherine Bottoms. 

She is survived by her son Stephen E. Bottoms, Somerville, two step-grandchildren, Adam Trockman and Whitney Coomer and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Friday Dec. 28, 2007 at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City. Burial will follow in the Somerville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home.
