Ralph E. Boerste,
73, died at 11:46
p.m. Friday, Jan. 6,
2006 at Gibson General Hospital, in Princeton. He was born July 5, 1932 in Tell City.
He had lived in Princeton since 1971, moving there from Owensboro, KY, and was formerly from Tell City. He retired as an accountant for Potter and
Brumfield, where he worked for several years. He was a member of St. Joseph
Catholic Church, in Princeton. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of VFW
Post 1147 and the Princeton American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Lydia (Winter) Boerste,
his first wife, Roberta (Hauser) Boerste in 1976; his
second wife Linda (Lee) Boerste, in 2003; and two
brothers, Frank and Alvin Boerste.
He is survived by a daughter, Cathy Boerste, of Haubstadt;
a son, Kevin Boerste, of Ft. Myers, Fla.; two
sisters, Lucille Cassidy and Dorothy LaGrange, both of Tell City; a brother,
Albert Boerste, of Tampa, Fla.; and several nieces
and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. CST Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Princeton, with Father Bernie Etienne officiating. Burial will be in St. Mark's Catholic Cemetery, near Tell City.
