Mrs. Mary Benton, 89, (of Somerville, IN) passed away Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City, IN.

She was born in Stanley, IN. to Larkin and Effie Mae (Greer) Feagley.

She was a member of the Somerville United Methodist Church. 

She is survived by a son Kenneth Benton and his wife, Doris of Buckskin, IN. and a daughter, Kathy Schwomeyer of Fenton, MO; Six grandchildren; Michael, Todd, Ryan, Patrick, Christine and Ronda; and two great grandchildren, Errol and Chloe; a special friend, Mary Bone; and several nieces and nephews also survive. 

Mrs. Benton was preceded in death by her husband, Christie M. Benton and her daughter, Karen Benton. 

Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 21 2006 at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, IN. with burial in Barnett Chapel Cemetery. 

Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. Thursday until service time at the funeral home.
