Harold L. Bender, 71, passed away on Friday August 11, 2006 at the Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.

Harold was a truck driver for the Gibson County Hwy. Dept. for 30 years. 

He was born on February 3, 1935 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois to Carl C. & Hazel Jane (Byrd) Bender, both deceased. He is also preceded in death by 3 brothers. 

Harold is survived by his wife of 48 years, Joan Bender of Princeton; sister, Mary Catherine Keifer of Alabama; brother Raymond Bender of Evansville; and special nieces and nephews including Devin Deffendall of Evansville. 

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday August 15, 2006 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Craig Duke officiating. Burial will be at the Blythe Chapel in Ft. Branch.

Friends may call from 4 until 8 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
