Mrs. Velma Beasley, 87, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2004 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City.

 

She was a homemaker and had attended the First Penticostal Church. 

Mrs. Beasley is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, in 1984. 

She is survived by her children, Lowell Beasley of Huntingburg, Elaine Memmer of Mackey, and Stan Beasley of Ravenswood, WV; two brothers, Ed Whilhite of Evansville and Don Whilhite of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. 

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Montgomery Cemetery, in Oakland City.

 

There will be no visitation at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home.
