Mary Ann Barclay, 70, passed away Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at her home in Brandon, Fla. after a long illness. Mary Ann was born in Indiana, but relocated to the Tampa Bay, Fla. area when she married James Barclay in 1968. 

She was an active charter member of the Brandon Chapter 1596 Women of the Moose, where she held the degrees of
Academy of Friendship, College of Regents and Star Recorder. Mary Ann was a hard worker and served the Sun City Restaurant for 25 years as a waitress and bartender. 

Mary Ann was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all who knew and loved her. The strong will, dedication and love that she displayed throughout her life will never be forgotten. 

She was preceded in death by three sons, Bradley Lannan, Gregory Barclay and Shane Barclay. 

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, James Barclay; a daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Oliver Dotson, of Riverview, Fla.; a son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Dawn Lannan, of Tampa, Fla.; four grandchildren, Valerie Lannan, of Tampa, Fla., Derek Delgado and his wife, Shawna, of Winchester, Ky., Dennis Dotson and his wife, Jachelle, of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Angela Michael and her husband, Barry, of Riverview, Fla.; eight great-grandchildren, Alexis, Brianna, Derek III, Peyton, Maranda, Hannah, Kaitlynn and Mason, who will be born in February 2005. 

Funeral services will be at
10 a.m. Wednesday at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, with burial in the Barnett Chapel Cemetery, near Elberfeld.

 

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 8 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the Corn-Colvin Funeral Home.
