Venetta I. Banet age 85 of Princeton died Thursday Nov. 25, 2004 at 7:29 a.m., at the Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.
She was born in Princeton, IN Nov. 14, 1919.
She was a homemaker. She had
lived in the Princeton area all of her life. She was a member of the St.
Joseph Catholic Church, Princeton.
She is survived by her
husband, Gerald E. Banet; 3 sons, Jerry Banet, Princeton, Jim Banet Sacramento, CA.
and John Banet, Mt. Olympus, IN;
2 daughters, Jane Ann Slinker, Newburgh, IN and Judy Hyneman, Mt. Olumpus; 8 grandchildren, David and Kenny Slinker,
Shawn Halbig, Victor Banet,
Carrie Davis, Lashel Montgomery, Charlie Banet and Clint Hyneman; and 11 great
grandchildren
She was preceded in death by
an infant daughter, Bernadette, a brother Lennis Kendle, Jr. and her parents, Lennis
Kendle, and Myrtle (Stormont)
Kendle Powell.
There will be a Mass of
Christian Burial 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton, with the Rev. Fr. Bernie Etienne officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the
Colvin Funeral Home from 4 until 8 p.m.
Sunday where a Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m.
