Deloris Arendell, 93, was carried home by the Angels on Oct. 30, 2004. She passed quietly at home after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

"Mamaw", our matriarch, loved her family around her. You never left her house without a home-cooked meal or a big, wet kiss.

In her earlier years, she loved to bowl, crochet, do word puzzles, embroider quilt squares and play slots and poker.

She was a 50-year member of the Eastern Star. She helped "Papaw" take bus loads of kids to the Shrine Circus. After they retired, she and "Papaw" divided their year between
Kuttawa, Ky., and Tucson, Ariz. They loved the Arizona Wildcats!

Mamaw, "we will miss you. There will never be another you."

Deloris is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Irma Barfield Ahlemann, her loving husband, Tom, sisters, Genora and Regine, and daughter-in-law, Betty.

She is survived by her daughter, Sue (Don) Bottoms; sons, Dave and Don (Shirley) Arendell; sister-in-law, Bonnie Harris; grandchildren, Rick, Eddie, Terri, Jane Ellen, Scott, Alex, Randy and Brad; 19 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be
