Ralph E. Amick,
86, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2008 at The Waters of Princeton. He was born in Huntington, Indiana on May 9, 1922. He was a retired operating engineer with Local #181,
he was of the Protestant faith and a member of Eagles Aerie #361 in Princeton.
Survivors include his 5 children, Lonnie Blevins of Kearney, NJ, Kent Blevins
of Corona, CA, Tennis Blevins of Phoenix, AZ, Colin Blevins of Kokomo, IN and
James “Ed” Amick of Wadesville, IN; 13 grandchildren;
several great-grandchildren and a sister, Imogene Palmer of Warsaw, IN.
Ralph was preceded in death by 3 brothers and his wife, Clarice Amick in 2004.
Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M.
Friday,
November 21, 2008 at Colvin
Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Larry Meadows officiating. Visitation will
be from 4 until 8 P.M. Thursday at
Colvin Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Princeton.
The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the staff at Gibson General Hospital 4th floor, the staff at The Waters of Princeton and
also Ralph’s grandson and his wife, James Ryan and Karen Amick
for all of their care.
