Martena Joy Young, 69, of Oakland City, IN entered rest on Wednesday July 16, 2008 at 6:07 P.M. at Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville, IN.

She was born on February 7, 1939 in Pike County, IN. to James and Jannie (Seatto) Willis.

She was proceeded in death by husband Raymond Young on June 2008.

She retired from medical records at Wirth Regional Hospital after 30 years.

Surviving are a daughter, Michelle Besing of Oakland City, IN; son, Mitch Young of Oakland City, IN; stepdaughters, Tammy Griffith of Wappapello, MO, Vickie Hill of Petersburg, IN, Beth Young of Evansville, IN; sister, Barbara Gillie of Oakland City, IN; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday, July 19,2008, at 1:00 P.M. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City, with burial in Sunset Cemetery in Winslow, IN, Rev. Darin D. Nossett will officiate.

Visitation will be 10:00 A.M until services.
