Hazel Josephine Tisdale, 94, of Winslow, IN entered rest on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 10:15 P.M at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City, IN.

She was born on March 29, 1913 in Pike County, IN to Elmer and Della (Long) Beadles.

She enjoyed life and her hobbies of quilting, fishing, and cooking and worked with the Green Thumb program and at the Winslow and Petersburg gym as a cleaning lady.

Surviving family members are: Daughter, Joetta Gudorf of Winslow, IN; sons, Donald L. Nelson and Marvin Nelson both of Winslow, IN; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Bernard Beadles of Petersburg, IN; sisters, Virginia Kearby of Petersburg, IN, Dorothy Curry of Phoenix, Arizona, Fern Mullins and Mary Bellamy both of Winslow, IN.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday October 3, 2007 Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City with burial in Sunset Cemetery in Winslow, IN. Rev. Dan Payne will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00-8:00 P.M. and from 8:00 A.M. until services on Wednesday at the Chapel..
