John Stilwell, 72, of Princeton, IN entered rest on Friday June 1, 2007 at 6:40 A.M. at Columbia Healthcare Center in Evansville, IN.

He was born on November 2, 1934 Oakland City, IN to Calvin and Lura (Simpson) Stilwell.

He was retired from the State Highway Dept.

He was preceded in death by a brother Roy Camp.

Surviving family members:  Mother, Lura Stilwell of Princeton, IN; daughter, Madeline Johnson of Princeton, IN; sons, Melton Stilwell of Petersburg, IN, Calvin Stilwell of Evansville, IN; 14 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters, Martha Bassett of Princeton, IN, Ruth Hamby of Florida, Patricia Carrico of Florida; brother, Paul Fulfer of Princeton, IN.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 4, 2007 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City, IN, with burial in Duff Cemetery near Mayo, Ind., Capt. David Minks officiating.

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until service on Monday at the chapel.
