PEGGIE J. LEATHCO SHERMAN STEWART

Princeton, Ind.---Peggie J. (Sherman) Stewart, 58, of Princeton, passed away on Wednesday, Aug2, 2006 at the Vista Care Riverpointe in Evansville.

She attended the First Baptist Church in Princeton. She was a dispatcher for the Phoenix Transport and several other companies for 20 years. She was a member of the VFW 1147 Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post 25 Auxiliary and the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

She was born May 30, 1948 in Princeton to Elmer and Ruth (Rainey) Leathco, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Sherman in 1993.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Denise and William Baldwin, of Princeton; a granddaughter, Kelsie Sampson and her sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Kenneth DeBord of Princeton.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006 at Colvin Funeral Home, in Princeton, with Pastor George Prinzing officiating. Burial will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Princeton. Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m.
