mine after 25 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a
sister, Vaunda Daughty;
brother, Rev. Orien “Buss” Stephens; and his wife the
former Julia Elizabeth Smith Stephens in 1993.
Surviving family: Son and daughter–in-law, Vernon and Ruby Stephens
of Winslow, IN; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Russell Simpson of Anderson,
IN; sister, Wynonia “ Johnnie” Carter of Petersburg,
IN; grandchildren, Amanda Potts, Mitchell Stephens, John Stephens, Michael
Stephens, Brian Simpson, Chris Simpson, Andrew Simpson; nine great grandchildren.
