Patty A. Skelton, 66, of Oakland City, IN passed away on Sunday April 17, 2005 at 4:35 P.M. at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN.

She was born on July 27, 1938 in Pike County to Wesley and Helen (Thurman) Bolin.

She was a member of Oakland City American Legion Post # 256 Auxillary, and V.F.W. Post # 1147 Auxillary in Princeton, IN. She had worked at American Legion Post, Taylor’s and Country Club all in Oakland City, IN.

She was preceded in death by a son Chuck Johnson; and her husband John Skelton on Nov 30, 2000.

Surviving is one daughter, Teresa Stafford of Louisville, KY; three grandchildren, Shane Stafford of Oakland City, IN, Michelle Stafford of Louisville, KY, Chris Stafford of Vincennes, IN; two great grandchildren, Destiny and Ashton Stafford; sisters, Maxine McCandless, Fay Head, Sue Norrick, Margaret Kirby all of Winslow, IN, Louise Virden of Oakland City, IN; brothers, Bud Bolin, Bill Bolin, Gene Bolin all of Winslow, IN.

Services will be Wednesday April 20, 2005 10:30 A.M. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel, Rev. Miles Zeigler officiating wit burial in Williams Cemetery near Oakland City, IN.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 8:00 A.M. until service time on Wednesday at the chapel.
