Richard E. “Dick” Robbins, 71, of Oakland City, IN entered eternal rest on Friday October 6, 2006 at 7:10 P.M. at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN.

He was born on July 15, 1935 in Indianapolis, IN to Maurice and Ruth (Green) Robbins.

He was a member of Independent Order of Foresters and Oakland City Eagles; he retired after 40 years as a Boilermaker and member of Local 374.

He was preceded in death by grandson, James Aaron Smith and great grandbaby, William.

Surviving is his wife of 46 years the former Carolyn Petro; daughters, April Warner of Chandler, AZ, Marsha Sirmans and Lois Leslie Both of Oakland City, IN; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brothers, James L. Robins of Beech Grove, Ind., Bobby Bostick and Roy Dale Bostick of Princeton, IN; sister, Mary K. Brown of Petersburg, IN.

Funeral services will be Wednesday October 11, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel, with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fr. Branch, IN.

Visitation will be Tuesday October 10, 2006 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. and from 8:00 A.M. until services on Wednesday at the chapel.
