Ruth Virginia Page, 89, of Oakland City, IN entered rest on Sunday September 23, 2007 at 5:40 A.M. at her home.

She was born on May 28, 1918 in Gibson County, IN to Ennis and Emma (Maxey) Williams.

She graduated from Winslow High School in 1936.

She was married to Kenneth Page for 62 years and he preceded her in death in 2000; she was also preceded by a sister Agnes Wright and brother Junior Williams.

She was a loving homemaker devoted mother and wife and she also worked part time at “The Store” Tastee Freeze and school cafeteria.

Surviving family: two children, Kenneth Wayne (Judy) Page of Oakland City, IN and Virginia Elaine (Marc) Waller of Princeton, IN; grandchildren, Kenny, Matt and Whitney Page and Nicholas Marc Waller; great granddaughter, Isabella Smith; sister, Fern Brewer of Oakland City, IN; nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday September 28, 2007 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Montgomery Cemetery. Rev. John Stepp will officiate.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday and from 8:00 A.M. until services on Friday at the chapel.
