Peter C. McGrath, 82, of Petersburg, IN entered eternal rest on Wednesday August 2, 2006 at 7:20 P.M. at Memorial Hospital & Healthcare in Jasper, IN.

He was born on December 7, 1923 in Plainview, Minnesota to Thomas and Agnes (Wagner) McGrath.

He was a member of Oakland City American Legion Post # 256; V.F. W. Post # 3587 and Petersburg Moose Lodge. He was a World War II Army Veteran. And he was a retired truck Driver from R.C. Cola.

Surviving is his wife of 39 years: Oma (Hutchinson) McGrath; a son, David McGrath of Indianapolis, IN; a daughter, Judith Ann Hollingshead, of Albuquerque, New Mexico; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four sisters, Margaret Henry of St. Charles, Minnesota, Mary Olson and Irene Marshman both of Plainview, Minnesota, Catherine Kerrins of Grand Meadow, Minnesota; two brothers, Maurice McGrath of Lake City, Minnesota and Pat McGrath of Maine.

Funeral services will be Friday August 11, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City, IN, burial in Forsythe Cemetery, Fr. Ronald Zguanda officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00 -8:00 P.M. Thursday and from 8:00 A.M. until services on Friday at the Chapel.
