H. Jack Mason, 95, of Lexington, KY, formerly of Oakland City, IN passed on Dec. 26, 2005 from complications of a fall at his home.

He was the widower of Lucille Bayer Mason, his wife of 46 years and the widower of Clara A. Keller.

He was born on Jan. 8, 1910 one of eight children to Emery and Elizabeth (Fleener) Mason of Oakland City, IN.

He was preceded in death by a son Jack Thomas Mason of Jackson, MS; also granddaughter, Debbie Mason Yates of Lexington, Ky.

Surviving family members include a daughter, Betsy (Claude) Farley; a son Jerry Dee (Betty) Mason all of Lexington, KY; grandchildren, Kathy Clark, Rebecca Moberly, Diane Farley and John Farley all of Lexington, KY, Claude Farley of Richardson, Texas, and Scott Farley of Somerset, KY; eight great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Verneda Mason of Jackson, MS; and a very special friends, Juanita Schnacke of Evansville, IN, and Bill Arndt and Buddy of Lexington, KY; in Evansville and Oakland City are several sisters-in-laws and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Mason worked in the gasoline business in Evansville, IN and the Heating an Air Conditioning Business in Lexington, KY and Owensboro, KY until his retirement.

He was a 50 year member of Scottish Rite and Hadi Shrine and member of Masonic Lodge # 64 in Evansville, IN.  He was member of Lexington Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge and active member of the Lions Club, holding several offices and was an eager volunteer at Lions Bluegrass Fair each summer.

Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday at W.R. Milward- Southland Funeral Home in Lexington KY.  

Funeral Services will be Friday December 30, 2005 at 12:00 Noon at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City, IN.  Burial in Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City, IN.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until services on Friday at the Chapel.
