Charley G. Krieg, 74, of Oakland City, IN entered rest on Saturday October 25, 2008 9:43 A.M. at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, IN.

He was born on May 20, 1934 in Pike Co. IN to John and Dorothy (Dillon) Krieg.

He was a member of Patoka F.&A.M.Lodge #450, S.A.L. Oakland City American Legion Post # 256, Oakland City Eagles, Hadi Shrine, and a member of the Miller Cemetery Board.

He owned and operated a Heating and Air Condition Business in Oakland City, IN over 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two children, Tonya Sue and Ricky Krieg.

Surviving is his wife Georgette (Barrett) Krieg; sons, Kevin Wallace, Charley Jr. (Chuck) Krieg and Pat Krieg of Oakland City, IN; daughter, Carmen Berger of Jasper, IN; stepdaughters, Holly Takacs of Huntingburg, IN and Sara Morris of Oakland City, IN; fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brothers Jerry and Mike Krieg of Petersburg, IN, John Krieg Jr. of Vincennes, IN; sisters, Alice Keeton of Oakland City, IN and Martha White of Petersburg, IN.

Graveside services will be Wednesday October 29, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Miller Cemetery near Oatsville, IN, Rev. Pat McCandless officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel.
