John E. Hunt, 56, of Princeton, IN entered rest on Wednesday April 18, 2007 1:45 P.M., at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Marion, IL.

He was born on July 7, 1950 in Oakland City to Bill Hunt and Helen (Harden) Robertson

He was employed as an Explosive Handler for the Dept. Of Defense, Crane Naval Weapons Depot. He also was 1st mate on Cargill Barge Lines on the Mississippi river. He served during the Vietnam Conflict in the Air Force.

Surviving are: Daughter, Emily Kidwell-Raimey of Longview, Texas; father: Capt. Bill Hunt of Princeton, IN; brothers, Gary Hunt of Oakland City, IN, Taylor Hunt of Princeton, IN and Jeff Robertson of Winslow, IN.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday April 22, 207 at Shiloh Cemetery near Hazleton, IN, Dr. Douglas Low officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Saturday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City, IN.
