Dora Isabelle Hedges, 86, of Oakland City, IN passed away on Wednesday May 25, 2005 9:32 P.M. at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.

She was born on June 25, 1918 in Gibson County, IN to John and Delilah (Kinder) Farris

She was preceded in death by her husband Hamilton Hedges on Aug. 24, 1995 and a son Daniel Hedges in 2002.

She was a member of the Oakland City Senior Citizens, Young Hearts Club, Oakland City Eastern Star, a Pink Lady at Wirth Regional Hospital, and attended Trinity United Methodist Church.

Surviving family members include: daughters-and sons-in-laws, Brenda and Jim Hovis of Oakland City, IN, and Diana and John Kennedy of Woodlands, Texas; a brother, Floyd “Bud” Farris of Oakland City, IN; a sister, Genavee Clark of Oakland City, IN; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday May 30, 2005 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel, burial to follow in Montgomery Cemetery, Rev. Adam Payne officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 P.M. Sunday and from 8:00 A.M. until services on Monday at the chapel.
