Charlotte Joan Hale, 59, of Petersburg, IN, entered rest on Friday April 27, 2007 at 10:25 A.M. at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN.

She was born on August 23, 1947 in Pike County, IN, to Claude and Vena Marie (Beard) Ashby. She was a RN and had worked in several Hospitals and Nursing Homes.

Surviving are her mother Vena Marie Ashby of Petersburg, IN; a sister: Ruth Copple of Winslow, IN; brothers Kenny Hale of Winslow, IN and Gerald Hale of Portage, IN; plus several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday May 1, 2007 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City with burial in Atkinson Chapel Cemetery near Oatsville, IN, Rev. Keith Jenkins officiating.

Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Monday and from 8:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday.
