Kenneth David “Dave” Frederick, 61, of Oakland City entered eternal rest on Sunday November 5, 2006 at 10:30 P.M. at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

He was born on June 14, 1945 in Indianapolis, IN, to Kenneth Scott and Lois Eileen (Morris) Frederick.

He was a member of Oakland City Eagles Lodge, Oakland City Country Club, and American Legion Post # 256 in Oakland City, IN.

He had worked for Old Ben Coal for 22 years, Casino Aztar for 7 years, and was recently manager of Oakland City Country Club.

Surviving is his wife of 40 years, the former Jeannie “Gowen” Frederick; one son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Kate Frederick of Oakland City, IN: brother, Wayne and Janet Frederick of Winslow, IN; gGrandchildren, Dylan and Grace Frederick; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday November 9, 2006 1:00 P.M. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with Rev. Matt Malin officiating, with burial in Montgomery Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday and from 8:00 A.M. until services on Thursday at the Chapel.
