Kenneth A. Douglas, Jr.

 

FORT BRANCH - Kenneth A. Douglas, Jr., 40, of Ft. Branch, died Friday, April 12, 2002, at his home after an eight month battle with cancer.

He was born May 29, 1961, in Princeton.

He was a member of the Owensville Church of The Nazarene and the American Motorcycle Association. He was a construction worker and enjoyed racing four-wheel motocross. He placed fifth in the Nationals at Hurricane Mills, Tenn., in August 2001.

Surviving are his fiancé, Janelle Young of Ft. Branch; three sons, Joe Miller of Owensville, Jerome Young of Ft. Branch and Jack Douglas of Patoka; two daughters, Sheryl Miller of Owensville and Destiny Douglas of Patoka; two brothers, Jerry Don Douglas of Patoka and Terry Willis of Evansville; two sisters, Karla Sullivan of Princeton and Michele Barrett of Wichita, Kan.; grandfather, Lloyd Satterfield of Princeton; granddaughter, Ashlin Young of Princeton; a special cousin, B.G. Knight of Ft. Branch; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews.

          Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 16, at Stodghill Funeral Home on Hwy 168 in Ft. Branch. Pastor Randall Turner will officiate.

Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Lynnville.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m., Monday, April 15, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Owensville Church of The Nazarene.
