Doris Mae Dougan, 75, of Oakland City, IN entered rest on Friday February 16, 2007 at 11:18 A.M. at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City IN.

She was born on August 30, 1931 in Spurgeon IN to Ermil and Eunice (Hedges) Dougan.

She graduated from Spurgeon High School in 1949 and operated the Smart Shop in Oakland City from 1949-1984.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Kenneth Dougan and a sister Betty Curtis.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews

Memorial services will be Thursday February 22, 2007 7:00 P.M. Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel, with Dr. Ora Johnson officiating. Burial in Spurgeon Cemetery will be at later date.
