Ronald Leo Cunningham, 73, of Oakland City, IN entered eternal rest on Monday October 9, 2006 at 4:40 A.M. at his home.

He was born on April 14. 1933 in Oakland City, IN to Thomas H. & Mary L. (Chumbley) Wheeler Cunningham.

He was a graduate of Oakland City High School, a Navy Veteran serving during Korean Conflict, a retired rural mail carrier after 30 years, employed at Jackson Automotive for 16 years was the enrolled agent and ran Cunningham Tax and Accounting service from 1958-2000 and continued to work until April 2006.

He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father Thomas Wheeler.

He was a member of Oakland City Masonic Lodge # 467, the Royal Arch, and Oakland City Eastern Star and a member of Forsythe United Methodist Church.

Surviving is his wife of 50 years Sandra (Hollon) Cunningham; three daughters Anita (Robbie) Hamer of Oakland City, IN, Gina (Dean) Scott of Monroe City, IN and Teresa (Steve) Mallory of Princeton, IN.  Brother William I. (Pat) Cunningham of East Stroudsburg, PA.  Grandchildren Brittany L. Hamer, Zachery D. McEllhiney, Damon L. McEllhiney, Kody L. Hamer, Samatha R. Scott, Tori D. Mallory, and William D. Scott.  Step-grandchildren Stevie Mallory and Justin Mallory.  Brother–in-law Max (Sharon) Hollon of Evansville, IN.

Graveside service will be Friday October 13, 2006 10:00 A.M. at Forsythe Cemetery with Rev. G. Leonard Wood officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. on Thursday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel.
