Bobby L. Cox 56, of Oakland City, IN entered eternal rest on Thursday Dec.29, 2005 3:40 A.M. at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, IN.
He was born on February 2, 1949 in Oakland City, IN to Glen and Delouris
(Gentry) Cox.
He was a member of S.A.L. and Lifetime member
of Oakland City American Legion Post #256, Lifetime member of V.F.W. Post
#1147, Oakland City Eagles Lodge, N.R.A, I.O.O.F. Pacific Lodge #175 and Muren Church of God.
He was a graduate of Oakland City High
School class
1967, an Army veteran serving during Vietnam and 20 years in the National Guard. He was employed for 30 years at A.W.W.
Railroad.
He was preceded in death by his sister Linda Miskell and his brother Paul Cox.
Surviving is his wife of 36 years the former
Jackie Sharp Cox; sisters: Georgetta Kozar and Clara Cox both of Oakland City, IN, Mona Davis of
Somerville, IN, Kay Bajzath of Princeton, IN, Debbie
Hoover of Francisco, IN;
brothers: William Cox and James Cox both of Oakland City and Donnie Cox of Haubstadt, IN. Several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday January 3, 2006, at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel, with burial in Montgomery Cemetery, Rev. Frank McCandless
officiating.
Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and from 8:00 A.M. until services on Tuesday at the Chapel. Oakland City American Legion Post # 256 will
conduct military graveside services.
