She was born on July 20, 1915 in Gibson County, IN. to Jefferson and Olive (Smith) Hannah.

She was member of First General Baptist Church in Francisco, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, twin brothers Bobby and Dale Hannah, sisters, Earnestine Burchfield, Nelly Hannah, Dessie Burns, Madge Whitten, Ruth Stone, and husband Robert Carter on May 6, 2003.

Surviving are her brothers Donald Hannah of Princeton, IN George Hannah of Francisco, IN. Also several nieces an nephews

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday May 14, 2008 at Lamb-Basham Oakland City, IN, burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Francisco, IN, Rev. Bob McDonald and Dr. John Hornbrook will officiate.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 8:00 A.M. until services on Wednesday at the chapel.
