Tommy Ray Byrnes 57 of Petersburg, IN. entered rest on Tuesday April 22, 2008 at his home.

He was born on November 18, 1950 in Gibson County IN. to Floyd and Dorothy (Day) Byrnes.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Robert Byrnes and sister Nancy Hughs.

He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He had worked at Florida Wire and Cable in Jacksonville Florida, was Plant Manager, Amerstrand Cable Co and also worked at Bridon American in Oakland City, IN. He was a member of Gibson County Antique Machinery Club and a member of the Goldwing Club in Florida.

Surviving is his wife of 37 years Sharon (Perkins) Byrnes. One son: Brian Byrnes of Petersburg, IN. Daughter and son-in-law: Tonya (Mike) McKannan of Francisco, IN. Sister Betty Scarbrough of Evansville, IN. Brother: Frank Byrnes of Evansville, IN. Mother-In-Law: Bea Perkins of Petersburg, IN.

Funeral services will be Sunday April 27, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City, with burial in Atkinson Chapel Cemetery in Oatsville, IN, Rev. Darin D. Nossett will officiate.

Visitation will be from 10:00A.M.until services on Sunday at the chapel.
