MAXINE BROWN

Princeton – Maxine Brown, 69, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2000 at 5:40 p.m. at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

She was born in rural Patoka, Sept. 11, 1930 and had lived in Princeton for the past 14 years after moving from Patoka.  She was a homemaker and a member of Baldwin heights Tabernacle.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jerry l. and Evalena (McKannon) Lynch; brother, Luther Lynch and a brother who died in infancy.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles Brown; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Dale and Shirley Brown of Patoka; two grandchildren, Carrie McCammon and Gregory Brown; two step-grandchildren, Robin and Ryan Coomer; great-granddaughter, Cassidy McCammon and two step-great-grandchildren, Jalyn and Rylin Stough.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at Colvin Funeral Home, Revs. Darrel Stroud and Edmond Harris officiating. 

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Patoka.

Friends may call at Colvin Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday.
