Billie Joe Bottoms 79 of Somerville, IN entered rest on Sunday August 17, 2008 at 4:50 A.M. at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City, IN.

He was born on November 3, 1928 in Francisco, IN to Welza and Marie (Thompson).

He retired from Windsor Plastic after 23 years.

He was preceded in death by parents, sister Imogene Miloncus, daughter-in-law Karen Bottoms and grandson Mike Deno. Surviving is his wife the former Wilma (Nixon) Bottoms. His son: David Bottoms of Buckskin, IN and daughters: Debbie (Dennis) Willis of Somerville, IN and Darlene (Mike) Elaman of Tell City, IN. Grandchildren: Jennifer (Steve) Kessner of Grandview, IN, Chad (Mandy) Bottoms, Dena (Donnie) Balder of Evansville, IN, Cindy (Eric) Walker of Oakland City, IN, Carrie (David) Brogan of Somerville, IN., Josh Elaman of Tell City, IN. and Andy Willis of Somerville, IN.

Great Grandchildren: Steven and Mak Kessner, Nolan and Saydee Bottoms, Kadance Balder, Jonathan Walker, Mackenzie and Baby Brogan. Brother: Donnie (Sue) Bottoms of Somerville, IN, sister: Peggy (Larry) Johnson of Spurgeon, IN and Phyllis (Bob) Hunt of Somerville, IN.

Private graveside services will later date Somerville Cemetery.
