Adelia Mauck Blackburn 87 of Clarksville, In. formerly of Oakland City, IN entered eternal rest on Thursday August 17, 2006 7:25 A.M. at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born on October 7, 1918.

She was a former member of Oakland City General Baptist Church where she directed the choir and taught Sunday school and was member of Daughters of the American Revolution.

She was preceded in death by her husband George Blackburn in 2003

Surviving are 2 sons: George William (Bill) Blackburn: of Louisville, KY and John Robert (Bob) Blackburn, of Lexington, Ky.

Grandchildren: Todd William Blackburn, Kristen Leigh Blackburn and Brett Robert Blackburn.

Services will be Monday August 21, 2006 12:00 Noon at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City, In. with Dr. Douglas Low officiating burial in Providence Cemetery near Francisco, In.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until services on Monday at the chapel.
