Ruby L. “Maw”. Barrett 81 of Oakland City, In. entered rest on Sunday February 12, 2006 at 3:00 P.M at her home.

She was born on November 27, 1925 in Madisonville, Ky. to Jack and Maude (Cary) Cornette.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Helen Scott, Betty Perry, and Tony Gish, brother Bill Cornette.

Surviving husband of 61 years Wilmer “Jake” Barrett

Daughters: Deborah Barrett and Sharon Myers of Oakland City, In.

Four grandchildren: Brent and Darren McCandless, Angie Hicks, and Jamie Cooper. (9) Great Grandchildren and (1)Great-Great Grandchild.

Sister: Virginia Foreman of Madisonville, Ky. and brothers Jim Cornette of Okeechobee, Fla. And Bob Cornette of Madisonville, Ky.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Thursday February 16, 2006 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel, with Sister Jenny Miller officiating. Burial in Montgomery Cemetery,

Visitation will be from 4:00P.M.-8:00 P.M Wednesday and from. 8:00 A.M. until services on Thursday.
