Elnora R. Arnold 89 of Spurgeon, IN. entered rest at 8:15 P.M., on Saturday June 28, 2008 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City, IN.

She was born on August 21, 1918 in Pike County to Ralph and Lucy (Skinner) Ferguson. She was preceded in death husband Chester in March 1993; sister Vernita Poore, brothers Bernard, Hancel, Orance, Bobby Joe Ferguson.

She and husband operated a grocery store for 44 years.

Surviving are a Bill (Sue) Arnold of Oakland, IN. Grandchildren: Scott Arnold of Spurgeon, IN, Brian Arnold of Vero Beach, FL and Susan Bailey of Spurgeon, IN. And, (5) great grandchildren

Funeral services will be Wednesday July 2, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. C.D.T. at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel, burial in Spurgeon Cemetery. Rev. Terry Beadles will be officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday July 1, 2008 4:00-8:00 P.M. and from 8:00 A.M. until services Wednesday at the chapel.
