Mary A. Aldridge 86, of Winslow, In. died at 7:07 A.M., Monday August 23, 2004 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City, IN.

She was born on June 1, 1918 in Oakland City, IN to Charles & Flora (Fleming) Church.

She attended Christian General Baptist Church in Winslow, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents , a sister Dorcas Volz and a daughter Mariam Ellen Aldridge.

Survivors daughters: Diana Joyce Dossett of Morganfield, KY, Effie Wolfe of Hazelton, IN, Elsie Hartman of Severn Maryland and Mary Beth Aldridge of Cincinnati, Ohio. Sons: James E. Aldridge and William S. Aldridge of Winslow, IN, Benjamin Aldridge of Humble, Texas, Timothy Aldridge of Cresent Springs KY. A sister Marjorie Dills of Evansville, IN. Grandchildren (10) and (1) great grandchild.

Funeral services Thursday August 26, 2004 2:00 P.M. Christian General Baptist Church in Winslow, Ind. Bro: George Bruce officiating, with burial in Williams Cemetery near Oakland City, IN.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and from 8:00-11:00 A.M. Thursday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel in Oakland City, IN and from 12:00 Noon until services at the Church.
