William Joseph Zimmerman, 67, of Evansville, died at 3:55 p.m. Feb. 9 (1991) at Veterans Hospital in Marion, Ill.

He was a retired Building Commissioner of Vanderburgh County and Evansville. Zimmerman was a member of the American Institute of Architect, Elks, Central Turners, Kennel Club, Eagles, and Outdoor Boating Club.

Preceding in death were his parents, Elza and Flo Zimmerman.

Surviving is his aunt, Wella Skelton of Patoka.

Private graveside services will be conducted today at Maple Hill Cemetery, Princeton.
