Tom Rainbolt (Thomas Wilshire Rainbolt), 96, died at
12:41 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, (1991)
at Wirth Osteopathic Hospital in Oakland City.
He was born Jan. 30,
1895, at Leavenworth, Ind., (the son of Jonathan
and Ella Jane (Elliott) Rainbolt) and resided in Oakland City.
Rainbolt had worked for
the Princeton Police Dept., and was an owner of a restaurant/tavern in Winslow.
He was a member of the
Columbia Masonic Lodge 450, Patoka, and Scottish Rite Valley of Evansville
He was a veteran of
World War I.
Surviving are a son, Don
Rainbolt of Chicago, Ill., three
granddaughters, Vickie Schiewe of Skokie, Ill., Corinne Mattson of Woodstock,
Ill. And Sharon Lebbing, Lake in Hills, Ill., and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will
be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Lamb Basham Memorial Chapel, 226 E. Washington St.,
Oakland City, with the Rev. Terrel Almond officiating.
Burial will be in Oak
Hill Cemetery, Patoka.
Friends may call at the
chapel after 3 p.m. today.
Columbia Mason Lodge
will conduct memorial services at the chapel at 7 p.m.
