graduated from the Universi-

in 1965 from the US Forest Service as
Assistant Regional
Forester for Timber Manage-
ment in the Southwestern Region. He was a life
member of the
Society of American Foresters, and
Siuslaw
Lodge, No. 192 in
the
Zia Daylight Lodge, No. 77, A.F. & A.M. Dahl
was
also a founding member of Southwestern
Ella; daughter, Elsie Kimbrell and husband,
David of Arlington, VA;
son, John R. Kirkpatrick
and
wife, Carolyn of Fairfax, VA; step-daughter,
Sue Gunckel
and husband, Fred; step-son, James
Egan and wife, Suzie LaBelle; and grandchildren,
Lara, Aaron, and Jeff Kimbrell, John Kirkpatrick,
Jason Kirkpatrick and wife.
