Marcella A. Jones

Marcella A. Jones, 82, Indianapolis, formerly of Winslow, died Aug. 3, 1995, at the University Heights Convalescent Center in Indianapolis.

She was born Jan. 8, 1913 in Evansville. She was married to Gerald E. Jones on April 9, 1933. He died Jan. 19, 1994. Mrs. Jones was retired. She was a manager for I.U. Med Center Cafeteria for 15 years.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Norma and Maude Hurst Kammerer; her husband, a sister Betty, and two brothers, Norman and Robbie.

Surviving are a son Larry Jones of Indianapolis; two daughters, Bobbie Rothrock of Oakland City, and Shirley Houchins of Petersburg; four sisters Mary Lee of Winslow, Esther Kammerer of Petersburg, Mildred Spaw of Oakland City and Lois Spaw of Decatur, Ill.; seven grandchildren and two step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were conducted at 2.p.m. Sunday at Curtis Funeral Home in Winslow. Burial was in Martin Cemetery in Pike County.

Visitation was held Saturday at the funeral home.
